by Airtel Zambia has announced an upward adjustment for off-net transfers – transfers between Airtel Money to other network mobile money networks – in the higher bands. More specifically, the 3001-5000 band and the 5001-10000 bands. The new rates are as follows:

It has also adjusted its bank-to-wallet fees as follows:

They have not given a reason for the adjustment. Airtel Money Director James Chona’s phone went unanswered but I’ll keep trying.
