Airtel Business Enhances Fibre Connectivity With Introduction Of New Technology

Zambia’s largest 4G network provider, Airtel Zambia has announced that its B2B vertical , Airtel Business has introduced a new enhanced Fibre connectivity solution for businesses across the country.

Airtel already has over 4,000 km of fibre spread across the country and now with the new Gigabit Passive Optical Networks (GPON) Fibre solution, small and large businesses will be connected in Lusaka, Ndola, and Kitwe. The solution will be rolled out across the country in due course. The fibre network technology will offer a range of benefits to businesses including guaranteed bandwidth, scalable plans, security, high performance, reliability and speed.

As part of Airtel Zambia’s commitment to businesses in the country, the fibre network will ensure businesses have access to cost-efficient internet services, and its scalable bandwidth will allow businesses to customize their bundle plans according to their needs and budget.

With Airtel Fibre’s dedicated line between their local area networks (LAN) and the internet, businesses will have access to connection speeds that have capacity of up to 10Gbps (Gigabits per second). Businesses will also be guaranteed access to their entire bandwidth allowing them to concentrate on their day-to-day activities without internet speeds hindering them.
