We celebrate Nancy Mutachila, a consultant and trainer at Hackers Guild

She shares why there needs to be more women in ICT and what parents can do for their female children:

1. ICT is important in every sector the economy and plays a part in nearly every profession. The number of women in the industry is very minimal, this simply means Zambia will need more skilled women in the field.
2. Parents should encourage their daughters to take up ICT,change mindsets by explaining the various opportunities in ICT, and schools must create an interest in ICT by having awareness activities for all age groups
