Airtel Zambia Unveils 7 More Shops In 7 Provinces

Airtel Zambia has today unveiled 7 additional new shops across seven provinces.

Airtel’s Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Hussam Baday, announced the opening of the new stores that are located in the Central, Northern, Luapula, Southern, Copperbelt, Muchinga and Lusaka provinces. 5 more stores will be opened in the month of May to bring the total number of shops to 53.

“Our goal is to remain resolute in delivering value for our customers, be it through our customer service, network connectivity or indeed bringing affordable products and services closer to the customers.” Mr. Baday said.

“We will continue to provide innovative products and services to meet market demand and in turn help to meet the needs and aspirations of the Zambian population amid the many challenges faced by the customers more so after the Covid–19 pandemic outbreak,” he said.

Adding: “After the pandemic outbreak, many customers are much more eager now to get connected electronically to their loved ones as well as use their phones to pay for goods and services in the comfort of their homes. It is a humbling thought that even as we bringing our services closer to the communities, we are also creating job opportunities as our shops have now effectively employed over 200 nationals.”

The new towns where the 7 stores have opened today are Serenje, Mporokoso, Kaputa, Siavonga, Ndola, Chinsali and Lusaka at the Cosmopolitan Mall.
