Vodafone Zambia has today announced the introduction of new, promotional and innovative 4G data plans for its customers, under the campaign name “Elevate Your 4G”.
Speaking during a media briefing, Vodafone Zambia Marketing Director, Michael Horup said the operator is launching a new innovative range of promotional bundles to satisfy the customer’s ever changing digital, social media and internet needs.
“At Vodafone, we believe in offering services that add value to the lives of our customers through constant focus on meeting their needs. More than ever before, Zambian consumers today have digitally converged communication behaviour via multiple platforms, are constantly on the go and want the freedom to access it all. Our new packages unlock a whole new way for consumers to live their social life on the go – without using up their data.”
Mr Horup added that the “Elevate Your 4G” campaign is an industry first as it bundles 4G data plans with free and unlimited access to WhatsApp, currently ranked as one of the world’s top social messaging applications. The new data plans further give customers freedom to access the very best in music and social media with unlimited Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter and Vodafone Music – all dependent on the plan they select.
“By empowering the customer to do more online with the introduction of these plans, we are demonstrating our commitment to elevate customer experience and satisfy customer demands. This is something we feel passionate about and it was our goal to make industry-leading changes that place the customer at the fore.”
And speaking during the same briefing, CEO Lars Stork said Vodafone was poised to lead the digital revolution and noted the campaign as one of many definitive steps in its quest to ignite Zambia’s digital agenda in 2018.
“Being the innovative and cutting-edge business that we are, we saw it fit to not merely conform to the market standard, but to formulate something that would add real value to the life of the digital consumer and cement our growing position as Zambia’s innovative 4G leader,” he said.
