Neil Brandt is an energetic multi-award-winning filmmaker and producer, who is comfortable working across content genres, cultures and time zones. He is a founding member of Fireworx Media and most recently Storyscope. Neil is passionate about nurturing authentic African voices that challenge stereotypes. An undergraduate in Economics and a post-graduate in International Law from the University of Cape Town, Neil has for many years has been at the forefront of content entrepreneurship and media advocacy in South Africa. In 2018 Neil founded Moon Valley Studios in Johannesburg, a pan-African content hub, and is currently on the board of the Durban Film Mart Institute.
