Asikana Network hosts the first-ever “All Female Hackathon”
Ladies in Tech, are you up for a challenge?
Asikana Network supported by #eSkills4Girls will host the first ever all female hackathon under the Africa Code Week that will bring together females to build out ideas to create solutions using Technology.
The #eSkills4Girls is a G20 initiative that aims at tackling the existing gender digital divide in particular in low income and developing countries, by globally increasing the access of women and girls in the digital world and boosting relevant education and employment opportunities
We are inviting all Females in tech or simply enthusiast to learn new skills, test new business ideas and meet new people to build the Internet with. ~ Thandiwe Mwale (Asikana Network Communications Officer)
Kicking off in the morning, the participants will be placed into teams of 3-4 and their ideas will come from those teams.
Get ready to meet awesome females doing amazing things with technology, and work together to bring something new to life. So work out whether you’re a hipster (designer), hacker (developer) or a hustler (Tech marketer / communications / sales) sign up!
