Airtel Zambia launches ‘Tonse’ data bundles

Airtel Networks Zambia Plc has unveiled new value for money data bundles called “TONSE”.
Last year the Company rolled out the 100% 4G Konse which encouraged customers to dream big and ‘make that connection’ as investors, buyers, retailers and even co-minded entrepreneurs.

The simplified data offering which is flaunting the tagline “You too can make that dream possible through Tonse Bundles” can be accessed via *575# and will offer all customers from all walks of life better value in terms of money spent and volume received.

Speaking at the media launch this morning at the Airtel Head Offices, Airtel Networks Zambia PLC Marketing Director, Hussam Baday said:“Today is another great day in the history of Airtel as we unveil a data offering called “TONSE” that is affordable for everyone. For instance, customers can get data for as low as K2 and also get 25GB for only K200.”

He added: “We will continue on our trajectory, to make our products and services available and affordable to every one of our customers and the “TONSE” data bundles will, as per the name, be available for everyone who is an Airtel customer.”

Mr Baday also revealed the Tonse Brand Ambassadors as football icon Christopher Katongo and sensational music artists Slap D and Yo Maps who will help drive the TONSE ‘experience’ with various activities lined up in the coming months.

As part of the activations for the Tonse Data Bundles launch is the “Red Box” which is an experience ‘set’ that will be placed at EastPark Mall in Lusaka as well as the Mukuba Mall in Kitwe. Customers will be able to experience virtual reality using Airtel Tonse bundles and will also get a chance of auditioning to be part of Slap D or Yo Maps future songs.
