Zamtel has today announced the start of a promotion dubbed 25 For 25 that will see its customers win free bags of mealie meal.
Over 4,000 Lusaka based customers are expected to walk away with bags of mealie meal in the campaign set to excite the public.
Customers are only required to transact a minimum of K25 using their Zamtel Kwacha account and phone in on any of the participating radio shows to answer simple Zamtel related questions to win a bag.
Zamtel Corporate Communications Manager Changwe Kabwe announced that the campaign is meant to appreciate customers as well as promote the use of Zamtel Kwacha.
“We want to reward our loyal customers by offering them free bags of mealie meal which they can enjoy as a family. We are aware of the stress that some families are going through as a result of the pandemic and as a truly Zambian brand that cares, we thought of stepping in to provide those families with our staple food,” Mr Kabwe said.
“Furthermore, we are encouraging our customers to use our digital money platform Zamtel Kwacha which is a safe and secure alternative to cash. We believe that by minimizing cash handling, our customers will be contributing to flattening the Covid-19 curve in our communities,” he said.
Zamtel has partnered with Superior Milling and the participating radio stations are Komboni Radio, Millennium Radio and ZNBC’s Radio 4.
