Press Release: Airtel Zambia launches Roaming & International Voice Calling Bundles

Airtel Zambia has launched Roaming Bundles and International Voice Calling Bundles which will enable customers to access discounted services. The two services which can be accessed by dialing *133# are available to be used in selected countries such as South Africa, Malawi, Kenya, Tanzania, Congo DR, United Arab Emirates, the UK and the USA.

The Roaming Bundles on offer start as low as K110 and will enable customers to have an approximation of roaming expenses as they will purchase the bundles prior to travelling.

The International Voice Calling Bundles can be purchased for as low as K20 for the USA, Canada, China, India and the UK with 30 outgoing call minutes.The newly introduced International Voice Calling bundles will allow prepaid customers to make discounted International Voice calls to USA, Canada, China, India, UK, Namibia, Angola, Botswana, Kenya, Rwanda, Nigeria, UAE, Tanzania, Mozambique, Malawi and Uganda.

Airtel Networks Zambia International Business and Services Lead, Mr. Charles Haboongo said this will ease people’s budgets as customers will have an approximation of roaming expenses as the bundles can be purchased prior to travelling.

“We have introduced these roaming bundles as well as international voice calling bundles which will enable prepaid customers to access discounted bundles when they travel to the named countries,” Haboongo said.

“Customers can visit our website or go to our social media pages to see the values of these offers that we have so as they make informed decisions of what bundles to purchase when they are travelling,” Mr Haboongo said.
