The Summit aimed at bringing together experts in digital technology and the seasoned business community and institutions of Zambia to identify how the latest trends, technology infrastructure for cloud and innovations in cyber security can assist in collaborating towards a smart Zambia.

At the event, Chief Marketing Officer of BCX, Mandisa Ntloko-Petersen, shared, “As one of the largest systems integrators in Africa, we provide end-to-end digital technology services to both Medium and large Enterprises. For four decades, we have been at the forefront of innovative and developing technologies through our extensive partnerships with some of the largest world leaders in the industry. This ensures that you have direct access to the latest and most trusted solutions. BCX follows its enterprise clients geographically, ensuring consistency of service across the region, operating primarily in South Africa, Namibia, Zambia, Mozambique, Botswana, and the UK. Having operated in Zambia for more than 20 years, we employ more than 30 Zambians, and our presence stretches throughout the country, with our head office in Lusaka. We are rooted in Africa with BCX South Africa as our majority shareholder, but we are equally proud of our 20% Zambian shareholder localisation credentials.”

The event was organized to celebrate the relationships built with businesses and institutions in Zambia over the past 22 years and to gather an impressive group of leaders who will provide their knowledge and insights on Digital Transformation. The focus will be on the hot topics of Cloud and Security. The speaker notes that digital technologies are a primary catalyst for global change, impacting various industries quickly.
