If you are in any business environment that requires the use or implementation of ICTs (Information and Communication Technologies), then maybe you need to be at the ICT Business Forum being held at Mulungushi International Conference Centre by the Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA) between the 7- 9th of October 2015, according to their website.

The statement reads that the aim of the forum is to ‘create a conducive environment for constructive interaction between policy makers, policy implementers, captains of industry and all major stakeholders whose lives are positively affected by ICTs.’

The ICT Business Forum will go by the theme “Innovate – Create – Thrive”, which we absolutely love for the fact with the latest advancement in ICTs in Zambia that are being introduced to we have more opportunities to be more innovative in our various industries, to create technological solutions to problems we faced before, thus thriving in many business environments.

The forum will also host some of the ICT policy makers in Zambia so there can be discussions with them about technologies that affect businesses whether good or bad.

Lastly, the forum will be an opportunity for technology makers to showcase their latest work to attendants that may be interested in, or may have been seeking that latest tech.

Interested? You can sign up here for the 2015 ICT Business Forum if you want to attend.

I hope the event brings out much-needed solutions, and won’t be one of those that showcase old technology to businesses that find them useless at this moment. We’ll see..
