Zamtel launches ZamPay app

Zamtel has launched a new mobile payment  app called ZamPay that they say will enable users make payments using QR codes.

How it works?

Subscribers have to scan the QR code displayed by the merchant with their phones to pay for their goods. 

It was launched at SPAR Arcades who will be the first merchant where customers who download ZamPay will be able to transact at. 

Zamtel CEO Sydney Mupeta also announced that the first 40 customers who will download ZamPay and use it at SPAR Arcades today will receive a K500 shopping voucher each.

Tomorrow the first 50 ZamPay customers will also receive a shopping voucher worth K500 each.
