Samsung Watches to come in circles: What do we expect?

question-mark

We’re all used to the rectangular wearables that Samsung has given us over the past few years but now it seem the Korean company is about to change to circular shapes for its next range of smartwatches.

Earlier Motorola announced their own smartwatch, the Moto 360, which has a very elegant round face, similar to most high quality normal watches worn by man.

Could Samsung be trying to rival Motorola’s Moto 360? It seems so. The Moto 360 got great reviews for its looks, even being called better than the Samsung’s range of wearables.

We’ll just have to see what the new Samsung watches come with,as is it not even clear whether they will be running on the open-source Tizen operating system, which the last Gear Fit watch came with, or maybe they will stick to Google’s Android platform.

Next week, 3rd of September to be exact, Samsung will be holding an event that is likely to show off the Galaxy Note 4 phablet and suspicion is that the circular smartwatch might also be launched there.

The very next day Motorola will be holding its own even where it will likely unveil 2 new smartphones and likely announce the availability of the Moto 360.

LG reportedly has a circular smartwatch likely to roll out next week as well and already has teaser circulating all over the internet so it seems they are stepping up to the game too.

It seems going in circles is in, for now.
