Kwesé TV launched in Zambia, Ghana and Rwanda  2 days ago and many of you have been asking where to get your hands on it in Zambia so here you go.

The Kwesé TV decoder is going for K490 including installation and a free month’s viewing, and then subscription will be K250 monthly thereafter. Kwesé has listed these distributors of Kwesé TV in Zambia on its website, along with their contact details and store locations:

The mobile number that you use to sign up subscription will be synced to your account and enable you to watch Kwesé TV on your phone anywhere you are in the world as well so you don’t miss a thing.

  • These guys are joking. They have no High Street store for one to walk in and see what is on offer. Even TopStar has a store, for God’s sake. I called two of those numbers. To begin with, the towns where the installers are located are not indicated, so, it is a “hit and miss” approach. The first number I called was in Ndola. Two Lusaka installers are not ready with the channel display. They don’t have stock either. One of them is based in Mtendere Market. This has started off as a joke. The Mtendere guy told me the Kwesé decoder has no PVR function at the moment. If true, that shows lack of seriousness.

    • From the Kwesé TV video I saw on their YouTube channel, of which I am one of only four subscribers as of today, their decoder is PVR capable and has Catch Up. Still, their launch in Lusaka is disorganised. They needed a presence at one of the Malls in Lusaka, East Park, Manda Hill or Arcades.

How do you launch such a service without a functioning website, when you look at the pricing, thats along some of the DSTV bouquets, so a website where i can see what kind of channels you are offering before i start calling people or agents isn’t too much too ask for.

  • Isaac Mvula

Or train more supertechnite in each district because need these decoder but in Mazabuka we dont have an agent we only have an installer. Please help

    • You are very right, and in due time, this has to be done, as Kwese tries to give viable competition to existing providers. They have to register their presence in all provinces and districts in Zambia

  • Isaac Mvula

How can one become a supertechnite?

    • Hi Isaac, from what I have read, visit their website and drop them a message, they will advice on the steps to take.

  • I really needed a service provider that would air sports like basketball. I was very thrilled when I head that Kwese will be one such. But from what I have read above, I am not sure of the seriousness of Kwese as a service provider. Kindly convince me that I would be able to leave other service providers and run to Kwese!!! All I need is to watch basketball among others

  • Is this kwese or koswe? Anyway, seriously strive masiyewa…provide a list of your package channels not faulty links requiring security certification! Really? And organise a permanent walk in place…even go- TV has one! Otherwise I would like to subscribe as soon as you get serious
